About four years ago I started a mailing list discussion group to discuss the fascinating orgone energy discoveries of Wilhelm Reich. The list lasted about two years, and when I shut it down there were 55 members and about 2,000 posts in the list archives, most of them from me.
One of the list members volunteered to edit the archives into a book format to be posted eventually on a website. That book has now been two years in the making, but is now almost finished. The final result will be a collection of short letters and essays on topics having to do with the orgone energy discoveries of Reich and my interpetations of them, together with some speculations and suggestions for expanding the solidly established findings of Reich into other fields.
This blog will focus on the forthcoming book and the exciting possibilities opened up by the discovery of the biological energy that fills the universe and underlies all the phenomena known to the natural sciences. My own interests center especially on the cloudbuster and environmental issues. The material will reflect this interest, but will also include other aspects of the natural sciences.
Although there will inevitably be some necessary digressions into fields like psychology and the philosophy of science, there will not be much on the personal life history of Wilhelm Reich, his political or sociological views, psychotherapy, and other areas that fall outside the realm of orgone biophysics.
I have been involved in orgonomy in one way or another for over 40 years. I had tutoring from the late Dr. Eva Reich, the daughter of Wilhelm Reich, and was one of only two people to whom she ever gave a private seminar devoted solely to orgone biophysics. Most of the people who came to her for teaching were more interested in psychology and childcare, so that was what she taught them.
I have done cloudbusting in both North America and Australia, done laboratory experiments with orgone accumulators and pre-atomic chemistry, and done oranur work twice, learning in the process many important new facts that open the way to understanding the true nature of radioactivity and how it interacts with the atmosphere and with living tissues.
I have also done much preliminary work on an orgonomic concept of ecology and an orgonomic explanation of biodiversity that will someday fill the role in biology currently filled by the Darwinian theory of natural selection.
In nearly every field of science, orgone biophysics provides an alternate paradigm from which to stand outside the modern mechanistic science of our times and see the world with the fresh eyes of a child again. In every scientific field, it challenges the world-view we have all been taught and allows us to re-examine it and make up our own minds on the basis of the evidence available to us. This mental liberation awaits you now.
In succeeding posts to this blog, I will go into more detail and give you more of an idea of the contents of the Orgonescience Book.
